Merry Christmas and happy new year!

Merry Christmas and happy new year! We hope you had a wonderful Christmas season celebrating with family and friends. Also, please don’t forget in all the rush and hoopla, that Christmas is the date that we celebrate the birth of Jesus, the son of God.

General catch all post for December

It’s that time! Time for my 2007 racing wishlist…

It’s the first day of December! I bet you thought that I meant Christmas wishlist?  No, I mean my wishlist for NASCAR racing in 2007.  I can’t tell you how disappointed I’ve been over the last couple of years. The sport has gone “Hollywood” (or at least it’s trying to). It’s a real struggle at times though. The last couple of days I heard that Nascar was looking at China and that Melissa Rivers was going to be interviewing drivers as they went into the awards show in New York? My goodness.

Sometimes watching these races (and support events) is like watching a tug of war.  On one side the old faithful “old school” fans with their motorhomes and on the other side prim and proper men and women in suits that actually have both a winter home AND a summer home.

Below is my list of things I would love to see happen….(I’m not holding my breath though)
