Ideal Maximum Capacity you need:

The maximum capacity is the most weight the scale or balance can register before overloading. Some common choices are 200 grams, 3000 grams, 150 pounds, 5000 pounds, and 120,000 pounds.

Ideal Readability you need:

The readability of the scale is the increments the scale moves up/down from 0 to the max capacity. For example, a 10,000 x 2 lb floor scale has readability of 2 lb. The scale increments up/down from 0 all the way to the max capacity of 10,000 pounds.

In this example, you could see a weight of 0 lbs, 2 lbs, 200 lbs, 6000 lbs, or 8124 lbs. However, you would not see a weight of 3 lbs, 221 lbs, or 7233 lbs since the scale increments up/down in 2 lb increments.
