{"id":120,"date":"2007-05-14T07:34:27","date_gmt":"2007-05-14T14:34:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.centralcarolinascale.com\/blog\/?p=120"},"modified":"2020-06-18T12:35:32","modified_gmt":"2020-06-18T19:35:32","slug":"overload-protection","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.centralcarolinascale.com\/blog\/2007\/05\/14\/overload-protection\/","title":{"rendered":"Overload protection"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As is the case quite often &#8212; a lot of the topics we discuss here originate from our customers.\u00a0 Just recently I received a question about overload protection on our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.centralcarolinascale.com\/Floor-Scales.htm\">floor scales<\/a>.\u00a0 Apparently a lot of the &#8220;internet specials&#8221; that are flooding the\u00a0web lately like to advertise they have &#8220;200% overload&#8221; protection, plus somehow with all the &#8220;toughness&#8221; they have built into their scales, they can sell their scales at super low prices and offer free freight on these &#8220;heavy duty&#8221; monsters.\u00a0 Wow, we need these internet guys to run for office &#8212; there is nothing they can&#8217;t do or say!\u00a0(or write for that matter)<\/p>\n<p>Here at CCS, we\u00a0stick to whatever the manufacturer specs are\u00a0because most, if not all, of our floor scales don&#8217;t have those 200% specifications.\u00a0GSE specs do currently list <a href=\"https:\/\/www.centralcarolinascale.com\/blog\/2015\/10\/08\/prodec-floor-scales-protected-by-bumper-guards\/\">overload<\/a> protection for their floor scales at 200%.
