{"id":177,"date":"2008-12-23T11:07:37","date_gmt":"2008-12-23T18:07:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.centralcarolinascale.com\/blog\/?p=177"},"modified":"2008-12-23T11:07:37","modified_gmt":"2008-12-23T18:07:37","slug":"merry-christmas-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.centralcarolinascale.com\/blog\/2008\/12\/23\/merry-christmas-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Merry Christmas!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since everyone is so afraid to say it this year, I figured I would title the entry Merry Christmas.\u00a0 Oh, I said it again.\u00a0 I hope I don&#8217;t offend anyone.\u00a0 Who am I kidding?\u00a0 I hope that I do offend some people.\u00a0 This idea that we can only say Happy Holidays is stupid.\u00a0 Plain and simple stupid.\u00a0 If you don&#8217;t celebrate Christmas, fine.\u00a0 Don&#8217;t. But it is time we as Christians (devout, twice a year church goers,\u00a0and\/or everyone\u00a0in between)\u00a0stand up and take back this holiday.\u00a0 I&#8217;m not saying this to be arrogant.\u00a0 If you choose not to <!--more-->celebrate Christmas that is your right.\u00a0 Maybe you celebrate Hanukkah or something else.
