Every single year we write about price computing scales at this time of year, so I guess we’ll do it again this year.  For most produce stands or farmer’s markets throughout the United States you need a NTEP Legal for Trade scale  to weigh your items on that you are going to sell your customer(s).  Most people opt for a digital price computing scale that computes price per pound. There are some NTEP digital scales that just show weight as well.  There are some mechanical hanging scales that are legal for trade. Just some “food” for thought this farmer’s market season.
